Shiv Nadar (conceived July 14, 1945) is an Indian extremely rich person industrialist and humanitarian. Nadar attended Kumbakonam's Town Higher Secondary School. Additionally, he attended Madurai's Elango Corporation Higher Secondary School. In June 1955, he was accepted into the sixth grade, and he remained enrolled at Town High School until June 1957. He went on to St. Joseph Boys Higher Secondary School in Trichy, where he finished high school. Nadar earned a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from PSG College of Technology in Coimbatore and a pre-university degree from the American College in Madurai. He is the founder of HCL Technologies and the Shiv Nadar Foundation, where he also serves as chairman emeritus. He started HCL in the middle of the 1970s and made the IT hardware company into an IT company.in the coming three years. With the opening of Far East Computers in Singapore in 1980, HCL entered the international market to sell IT hardware. In its first year, the venture generated Rs 1 million in revenue and continued to focus on its Singapore operations. Nadar retained control over management but remained the largest shareholder. Nadar was given the Padma Bhushan in 2008 for his work in the IT industry. Nadar was nicknamed by companions as Magus (Old Persian for "wizard"). Through the Shiv Nadar Foundation, he has focused on improving India's educational system since the middle of the 1990s.As per Forbes, he is the third most extravagant individual in India and the fifty-6th most extravagant individual in world with an expected total assets of 25.6 billion US dollars as of February 15, 2023.
